Hi, decided I want a SONOS playbar after much deliberating, however due to the layout of the living room it's not viable to wall mount the TV or playbar. I have read up and discovered that the height of the playbar is 3.35", I have a samsung tv and the base for the tv sits at 3 and a bit inches off the base, so if a playbar was situated in front of it, it would more than likely obstruct a bit of the TV's screen. The base of stand is quite large also.

Has anyone had any experience with getting a higher tv stand, failing that is there anything I could use to raise the tv up a bit on the actual unit? some sort of acoustics tiling/slab of wood!

Thanks in advance for any help.

(Will be getting a larger TV unit)

You can get or make a bracket that attachednto the VESA mounts on the back of the TV normally used for wall mounting the TV. The sound bar could then float above your TV.

I've made something similar but for a centre speaker in the past, I used some angle section that previously was the uprights of some garage racking but you can buy ready made ones nowadays.
