We've recently moved house and I've been told (by SWMBO) that my current Tannoy bookshelf speaker set up is not going to work with the design of the front room. I'm therefore on the hunt for a set of micro speakers to couple with my Denon amp. I'm keeping the sub so only need the centre, fronts and rears, preferably in black and budget is only £250. Could I have a few suggestions of what you guys would recommend I look at.

Cheers

I have always liked the B&W M-1s. If you are happy to go second hand, you should get a set of the earlier versions for £250.

The B&Ws are a good call, I use a pair of M1s for rear surrounds. If you don't like the SH route then Monitor Audio MASS might fit the bill http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/mass/ . £265.00ish : matching stands would kill the budget though. I don't know if MA's design means you have to use their stands/brackets; their wall brackets are £30.00 a pair.

My apologies, I didn't read the brief correctly originally. £250 for front, rears and centre is a hard ask, £300.00 gets these.

2 pairs of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Richer-Sounds-Mission-MX...
