LG 32LC2d TV - occasional green screen and sometimes blank

Hi all

Our trusty old telly has started to develop a habit of the odd green screen before the picture re-appears and last night it was blank for a long time - 30mins prob despite turning off, unplugging, changing source etc.

I thought at first it might be a handshake issue from the humax freesat box into the Yamaha amp and to the TV but even with the humax box plugged directly in it didn't work, nor via a phono cable.

It's only done it once (but green screens frequently so are we coming to the end of the road do we think?

It's doing this a lot more now and when I turn the TV on after a blank screen it crackles really loudly despite the volume being turned all the way down. Any ideas?
