I have had 3 decorating attempts to get my lounge wall flat after the place was rewired some 13 years ago, and the last attempt is almost perfect. ie I can see where the 240 V wires are hidden behind the plaster, lining paper and wall paper.
Luckily wifey doesn't do attention to detail, so thinks it's perfect.

The plastering I did in the dining room where half the plaster came off with the wall paper, is fantastic.

I got a plasterer in from the builder we use. £30 well spent.

Let it dry while we were on holiday, gave it a couple of coats when we came back.

SWMBO was chuffed! smile
