I've turned my shed into a gym, and want to mount a TV on the wall.

I looked at a couple yesterday and whilst they're perfect for what I want, the sound seemed really tinny and poor.

Are there any small TVs with a decent sound.? Or has the quest for thinness been at the expense of sound quality?

This one ticks all boxs but sounded pretty terrible.

I could type a really long and detailed reply, but basically:

Are there any small TVs with a decent sound.? - No

Or has the quest for thinness been at the expense of sound quality? Yes - Thinness and cheapness have killed sound quality because people don't care lessless

I kinda figured this'd be the case. Shame really.

My folks have an older Philips 26" tv that has really good sound. It is about 4" deep though!

Guess I'll just have to put up with crappy sound in the shed-gym. cry

Even a cheapo soundbar will be an improvement.
