Hi, Ive just bought a 48 inch Samsung 6410 TV. Picture quality is so much better than my old Sony but I have one problem which makes the TV unwatchable.
The refresh rate is 400 and it makes watching some shows impossible. Things appear to be speeded up and its like watching the end of a Benny Hill show.
It doesnt look natural at all. Ive messed around with various settings (far too many on these new TVs) and although I can make the TV bright enough to give me a sun tan, Skype the Mrs upstairs and make Eastenders go 3D I cant get rid of this comedy "smoothness" on the action. I can totally understand how it might be useful for sports but whilst watching a drama its all very odd.
Any idea if its possible to changes these settings? I have read the manual and it just mentions things like "Natural, Football mode, Cinema" doesnt actually tell me what they do.
I can see me getting the old one back out of the garage. Thanks.
