How you getting on Wormus?

I've discovered there is a bewildering array of stuff out there confused and havin hoped to find a cheeky bargain in the £100 area, I've so far failed. irked

Been looking at the Klipsch X11i and Beyerdynamic iDX 160 iE as I've decided I really do want a 3 button remote paperbag

For £50 I'm pretty chuffed actually. Fit is good and with the silver filters in place you get a good mix of bass and clear mid range. The filters do come unscrewed though as the threads in the aluminium are fairly coarse. I'll probably just glue them in place.

Thought I would chime in here with a recommendation for the AKG K451 - best £50 I have *ever* spent. They are a relatively small, over-the-ear type headphone, fold down into a nice, neat small carry case and come with 2 cables, one of which includes an iphone compatible microphone with volume and pause controls.

I am really happy with the sound after years of using ear bud types. I just find these so much more relaxing to wear, and on a noisy train often put them on with no music playing just to quieten things down. I was previously using Sennheiser CX300 which I thought sounded poor, Sony earbuds which were very good, and Ajays Four which were average.
