Selling Cyrus - buying... ???

I'm looking to sell my Cyrus CD6SE, Pre VS2, X Power and Dynaudio Audience 42 speakers but that's not the purpose of this thread.
I really fancy a set of Focal Dome 5.1 speakers as they suit the new house we've bought but I'm struggling to find a receiver. The room is small, the TV is in the corner if that helps. The main focus is movies via bluray and AppleTV but will also be used with Sonos.
Top of the list so far is the Sony STR-DN1040 which seems to be highly regarded and falls within budget (I don't want to spend more than £500).
Is this a good choice for these speakers? What other amps should be on my short list? I would like to get a short list before I go pestering the dealers and potentially wasting their time.
