A subcategory to the review sticky up top, this is meant as a heads-up for new and (to me) exciting stuff in the portable audio/video range.

First up is the new high end IEM from Meelectronics, the Pinnacle P1:

A dynamic driver IEM with two very innovative solutions, the indirect sound delivery and the possibility to wear it cable up or down.
The Pinnacle is tuned for balanced yet full-bodied sound with a warm undertone, and as already said it has a indirect sound delivery which promises a good treble extension and smoothness.
The Pinnacle also sports a detachable cable with MMCX connectors for extra durability, and speaking of durability, the housing is made of zinc alloy for low weight and nearly bomb proof strength. As also mentioned already, the housing is designed so that you can wear the cable either over the ear or straight down, and by swapping the L and R cable you can preserve the correct stereo signal as well.

Meelectronics Sport-Fi X7.

The next-generation wireless earphone. The X7 will replace the Metro2 (reviewed in the sticky up top), and will be more geared towards an active lifestyle with sweat proof design and secure fit. The X7 will be the most advanced Bluetooth in-ear on the market, with Bluetooth 4.1, support for aptX and AAC audio codecs, and multipoint functionality.

A heads up for a great Black Friday deal, the Brainwavz S1 (one of my personal favourite IEMs) + Brainwavz AP001 amp for $29.50 on mp4nation.

These new Shures are meant to be good, but are out of my financial reach.

They retail for about £2K.
