Budget is £200 and I want the following.

Wireless (must have)
Over ear (can't wear in ear)
Noise cancelling.
Not bling bling shiny crap.
Good sound

I have seen Samsung EO-AG900 for £170 instead of £250, but not sure if that is good or not.

Its for listening to music, watching stuff on laptop, for use when learning piano and when travelling using iPhone/iPad, etc.

Whats are the samsung like and obviously what are the rivals?

If I could stretch the budget, I would have Parrot zik as I like the gesture on the ear piece, however I suspect the same on Samsung don't work well with Apple products, not that I blame them.

Ideas folks.

Sorry my mistake. There are no noise cancelling wireless headphones as the battery usage would be huge. Bose make the best noise cancelling headsets but none are blu tooth enabled. All have cables for connecting to iPad, mobile and Mac.

For home listening, gaming, TV, surround sound etc i would look at Sennheiser MM400 X. Wireless and great blu tooth with great sound....but again no noise cancelling.

Samsung EO-AG900 are all of the above, they bluetooth on to the device in question and have 10+ hours battery life.

Careful with Bluetooth and watching movies. There are reports of A/V sync issues.

B&O H8's. Expensive (over your budget) but the best.

Be a bit careful with the h8's. Obviously a brand new model so havent tested but i do own the h6's got them for £160 but should be £320. I would say that they are almost worth the price i paid but are nowhere near what a £320 headphone should sound like.

No got them from amazon they are the pepsi special exition one which no one seemed to want so were cheap. Only difference is blue leather instead of cream or black.

They are very comfortable and like i said decent quality but not worth £300 plus.

I do location recording and mixing, so have a few pairs. My advice would be a good set of closed back cans should be plenty of isolation without needing then to be actively noise cancelling.

The wife can have the TV on loud and my enjoyment won't be impinged on at all in the same room listening to music on the Macbook Pro.

This is what I use both at home and location recording, where I am in the same room as bands etc whilst still monitoring:

They're about as understated in appearance as you can get. Proper pro cans though that will last a decade plus, and you can buy spares of the ear pads and cables etc. And under budget.

I'd choose them over a Samsung pair anyday IMHO.

ETA - sorry, didn't see the wireless necessity. These aren't. That said, if my budget was £200 I'd spend £100 on a proper wired set and get the best sound, and get a less good set for when I really must have wireless.

This sounds like bks to me:

Remastered 50mm Dual Diaphragm Drivers
Clean deep Bass, Vivid Mids and Ultra-Extended Highs tuned by the forums and editors

250 quid?

Never heard of them. Also, they are noise isolating, as oppose to noise cancelling.

The former I would say is better, but, you could get better sound for half the price with just a set of pro cans.
