Simple poll really.

Bought a 48" telly earlier in the year and really like it, thought it may look big in the room but really doesn't look that different from the 32" it replaces on the wall.

Over to you, bonus points if you have an interesting delivery story involving Eastern Europeans. smile

I didn't have a tele until I got married (to an Eastern European, in fact) a few years ago. Now have a 42" plasma jobby with a Bulgarian satellite contract and usually no UK channels because the freeview reception here is so rubbish. banghead

So I have my pick of American films badly dubbed into Bulgarian to watch. One day I might get around to putting up a second dish for free-sat. smile

Recently got a 55" to replace a 50", which actually looks the same size or a bit smaller. The previous TV had a larger border surround, whereas the new one has a tiny border.

48 here. The old 32" TV broke so I went out to buy a new one, in the shop they had a few massive curved screen ones and next to them the 48 looked very reasonable, it was only when I got it home I realised that it is actually A LOT bigger. It does fit, and doesn't look too council as our living room is fairly big but it took a few days to get used to!

I've got a 47" tv in the living room. A big TV looks big for a short time until you get used to it, then you want bigger again.

My 37" TV is approaching 8 years old, and as much as I'd like to replace it with a 50" I just can't warrant spending the money when I really don't need to.

When I think back to how much it cost me initially compared to what that money would buy me today...

43'' here, freestanding on a table. I was going to wall mount it but this Telegraph journalist I used to go out with nicked my screwdriver when she leftfrown

Pff, yeah right. As if a Telegraph journalist would go out with a peasant with a mere 43" television.

We have the 70 inch tv from Costco in my lounge. Its great. Although if you have to watch something that isn't in HD, it looks awful!

I have a 32" and suspect a much larger screen wouldn't look much different either, as mine is one of the earlier LCDs and has a rather large frame (3-4" all round). Newer tvs have a very narrow frame (<1").

Yup.

We went from 40 to 60 inch. 60 now looks normal frown

My cousin has an 85 inch, that never looks small smile

We have a 21" flat screen HD!

But most impressively I'm in control of a full 12" in the bedroom.

If you want to know what 12" in bedroom feels like, it's like watching one colour changing LED with the radio on.
It's not so bad the only time it's anoying is when you're watching a good murder mystery and they just point to the baddy and don't say his or her name.

Tiny thin bezels mean as screen sizes have gone up, the size of the unit itself haven't much.

A mate has an early 42" LCD, it looks enormous. My own 46 actually looks smaller!

Why is there not an option for 100" + ?

Or a "which one?" Option

As an aside my bird is Polish and doesn't have a screwdriver or a TV, the last option raised a smile.
