no UK channels because the freeview reception here is so rubbish.
I see you're in Southampton area, I'd discounted freeview from the off and chose a cable connection. However there are some other channels on freeview now (motors tv !) and since the analogue switch off the freeview dvb-t has been much better locally.

You don't watch much TV, but you do take the time to watch a misery-fest about rough Londoners shouting at each other?

Can't stand the other soaps but I've always liked Enders.

42" Toshiba LCD for my main TV and a 32" Toshiba in my bedroom. The 42" was an utter bargain I picked up off a mate a about 3 years ago for £200 but it's on it's way out now I think (it's got a weird tide-mark like effect in the top left of the screen) and I'll probably go slightly bigger for the replacement - I'm thinking 47-50" probably. Just hoping that it can hold on a while longer as it's going to be at least 4 months before I've got any chance of having the funds spare and the 32" would be tiny in the living room!

120" in the cinema room.
43" in my music room.
37" in the garage.
32" in the living room.

Screen size in the Mute household is inversely related to time spent in each room. Go figure.

How'd you get it in such a tiny room?

We have a 26" Sony LCD which is "half HD" and about 8 years old, cost us nearly 400 quid back in the day, just can't justify replacing it as it won't break!

50" Pioneer in the lounge, 13 years old and still going strong.
23" in the kitchen.
32" in the conservatory.
27" in the bedroom.
32" in the spare bedroom.

But I get more joy out of watching Blu-ray films in their true aspect ratio on my twin ASUS 29" ultra wide computer monitors.

I had a 120" JVC projector set up in the loft room a Pioneer 500M in the living room and a 50" Panny plasma in the TV room with my Meridian system.

Decided I really, really didn't like how chavvy it all looked and obly ever listened to the Meridian stuff with music anyway.

So got rid of it all and now have a Sony 47" W905 and a pair of Meridian DSP5200s in stereo mode. And I love it!

We have a small 32" in the bedroom and we have an older Sony LCD upstairs in the guest room/second sky room for when I want to watch the footy and the family is watching other stuff on the main TV room. But we don't have a TV in the sitting room anymore, just the Sony in the conservatory.

Decluttered and stopped looking for the next upgrade all the time. Nice feeling.

I don't have a telly.

Occasionally I watch Free Catch up on my laptop via a mobile dongle.

But mostly not.
