Big upgrade this week for me, New Panasonic TX58DX902 and an OPPO BDP105
Stunning pictures.....

Finally managed to track down a pair of TDM34's in white in decent condition.

Remembered your username and thought I'd mention it wink
Pics to follow, but now upgraded the Z11 to an RXA3050 and MX1000 Yammys, UB900 Panny 4k player and a set of KEF Reference model Threes, even added a much modded SL1200Mk2 with Rega RB300 and a pile of Timestep mods...

I'm glad I looked at this thread, I'm moving into a new house soon and need a good (ish) TV and sound combo in a modern house. TV will be 55/60" 4K hoping to spend £1500 all in, I also need it to be well hidden or in a cabinet to keep swmbo happy. Any advice appreciated

Since getting the TDMs I've decided to go all in for 7.1 - currently dumping some Krell pre amps, MF power amps, AudioSector DAC and a Denon AV amp and simplifying it all with a Marantz 8801 feeding a EAD 8300 monster. Only thing that's staying is the Ref 4s smile

The amp was delivered this week.......on a pallet.

45Kg.

Eek.

If weight = quality I'm in for a treat once my cables arrive.

My Yamaha MX1000 stereo power amp is just short of 30 kgs it's from 1987 and runs completely in Class A, and once warmed up is sublime, compared it to some very expensive "big name" power amps, where in my opinion it trounced anything under £2k and a few above it...

Part of my new upgrade the new rega p3 with marantz PM6600 UK amp & Q acoustics 3010i's, the PlayStation 4 is a plus as it plays flac music files in hi res so are also digitally fed into the amp along with Spotify streams.
The TV is 60" LG Lcd

Never realised the PS 4 did that, is that direct from a hard drive?

I used the early Jap PS3 as a CD transport for a while, it sounded amazing.
