Seiki 39"4k TV

Picked one of these up as they were on offer with ebuyer. The image quality seems really good compared to my old TV which is a 10+ year old LCD.
Unfortunately there's a noticeable lag between audio and video. I have everything plugged into my SONY STR DN-610 via HDMI, then the TV is connected to the HDMI out on the amp.
There is an audio delay setting for the amp, but it's a static 60ms, and only applies on certain settings. Frankly it seems to do naff all.
The lip sync seems noticeably worse when the video is of worse quality I.e. Streaming 4OD. it's almost as if the TV is taking longer to process the signal.
Are there any solutions to this other than forking out for new kit?
