I wanted to see if it was possible to attach my bluetooth enabled HIFI to my TV so i started looking for bluetooth adaptors etc until a Samsung repair engineer said i didnt need one and the TV could do it native! no mention of it in the manuals or anything so he showed me how.....

with the TV on standby and using the large main remote press info, then mute, then power in quick succession.....

the TV will turn on and present you with the hidden menu where you can make lots of changes

Scroll down to engineering and you can enable bluetooth

Turn the TV off to make the change and when you turn it back on in your sound menu you now have the option to connect bluetooth headphones, speakers etc and away you go

There were loads of other settings too but play with those at your own risk

Its a 6 series, definitely works on the 7 and 8 too

Strange thing was that the sound now plays through the audio device via bluetooth if its TV broadcast or DVD but things like the youtube apps dont recognise it.

Still i wanted it for films anyway so DVD fine by me
