Musical Fidelity Amp, and matching CD player. PMC Monitor speakers.

Basically, it sounds great but more importantly it looks amazing with its brushed extruded aluminium front and ice blue LEDs, sitting so pretilly on a custon built stand made of polished 2 inch thick perspex. Even chicks love it.

You can tell I'm a real audiophile, no?

Who did you get to make up your stand Harry? I can’t find anything with the shelf spacing and overall height combination I need.

I should also add that in addition to the NAD system I have an original 1965 JukeBox that has been converted to take 100Cd's. It has a new amp inside, and slave speakers (which are high quality Technics Linear Phase).

It sounds good. Certainly nowhere near some of the systems described on here, but it looks fabulous.

A Nott-Head! You are a man with exquisite taste!

My deck: Nottingham Analogue Dais:

Trying out various arms/carts to find out which combo is the best.

Phonostage: Currently EAR 834P:

currently have a Bottlehead Seduction under construction to compare.

Amplification: World Audio Design 2A3PSE integrated single-ended valve amp which I built 2 years ago:

Am currently constructing a slightly more powerful (and very pretty) Glasshouse 300B amp with all upgraded components:

In case you hadn't guessed, this is a bit of a hobby.

Is that the Velman, the silver one.
Would you kindly post a link for the new 300B amp, that looks good, I have been thinking of putting one of these together for a while, thanks.

Now you guys are real Audio Nerds! The genuine articles, no question.

(I do like the look of the valve amps - but mainly because they light up and look cool...)

Come to think of it, I don't even have a fast car either, right now.

Charlie, its true mate, he doesn't.

Lots of bluster about "pumping profits back into the business, old boy", but the reality is he's a tight fisted w*nker. If I were his missus (poor woman), I'd be right browned off at watching Corrie on that 12" B&W portable by now

Oh, Sir! Foul Play!!

I struggle to believe a man of you precedence does not have a stonking great Home cinema system at home!

If an R400 is slow, what's fast?

Update - the Audion Sterling/Acoustic Energy Aelite 2 combo hit the target at auditioning. truly capable of providing musical intensity of a very high order, well exceeding my expectations (as well as those of the shop staff who heard this pairing for the first time) - so I ordered a pair in Light Birch .

Now for a phono pre-amp, stands, cables...

That's an exceedingly pertinent point.

Still, this thread is enough to make me dig out some classic Jimmy Hughes bollock talk and change the old monicker by deed to Dennis Moorcroft in order that I might better extoll the virtue of solid core cable, rather than neo-feudalism.

Tempting...

Nope, kit division of Hi-Fi World. The 2A3 amp kit is now discontinued. www.worldaudiodesign.com

It's based on a 1965 Jupiter. I'll see if I can dig out a pic.

Are you happy with your A21a? I think mine sounds sperb and is good for keeping take-aways warm.
I would like to get the CD21 to go with it but I can't afford it at the moment.
