Samsung - UE55JU6800

It was a work leaving do last night. For some reason I woke up this morning with a few receipt emails, one of which is for the Samsung-UE55JU6800.

I had been looking at TVs with the Mrs and had approval for a TV this week. This one came up in their black Friday deals list on what hifi and I was wondering if I mistook it for their best buy 'Best 4K TV under £1000' UE40JU7000.

Anyone have one or have any input - should I cancel and order something else. I am aware of the viewing angle problem but wanted to buy a TV based on What hifi's reviews, else if the TV i just bought is average I may as well just buy a cheap and nasty TV set. What I wanted was a reasonable TV under £1k that was pretty darn good.

I've not seen that model personally, but all the 6xxx series Samsungs generally get very positive reviews.

Main difference between the 6800 and 7000 is the 7 is direct back lit, rather than edge lit.

48" 7000/7500 is under £1k in RS.
