Your box won't have been flagged for the update then, same as mine.

No, all boxes were supposed to be included in this update.

Can you try forcing an update again?

It wouldn't have updated yesterday - it wasn't released to all boxes until today..

Interested in Sky Q for the F1 in UHD (although I won't have it fitted in time for the first race in Oz this weekend) so following this thread closely, I've had a Sky+ HD box for 4+ years and been a sky customer for probably 14 years so I wonder if they'll do me a good deal?

Voice search, how do you select a channel such as BBC hd? Tried all variations, and just says 'not found'.
Seems really flakey. Tried "the last kingdom" and it finds that. Tried "shop well for less" which was on in 5 minutes and nothing found.

BBC HD isn't (I think) a channel - perhaps you need BBC1 HD or BBC2 HD, or maybe - if you know it - the channel number (115 for BBC1 HD)?

It's just that at the moment, searching for something. There's no actual control of the box at this time, but I believe it's coming. All throughout testing I found it faultless for my pseudo English/Scots hybrid tones. It just doesn't do full control. If you're looking for a particular program that's on BBC 1 HD, it'll find it for you, it just won't actually select the channel.

Been watching practice in UHD, have to say picture is great, however not 4 X HD.

A friend who works in Sky is going to email some sort of code or offer, so looks like i'll be getting Sky Q shortly.

Anyone know how to programme the Sky Q remote to switch on/off the TV? We have a Samsung circa 2 years old and the Sky engineer said he had programmed it so we wouldn't need the TV remote but it doesn't seem to work!

For the Touch remote at least you do it in the settings.

Hold down the power button for a couple of seconds.
