I always wanted one of these,the daddy of them all Sharp GF777,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/121875177143

Doubt I'll ever be in the ball game as cult status and therefore price ! Shows how time and technology move on,all that speaker-age and a not so awesome 90 W rms !
Electro 1,2,3 and 6 get my vote.

UPDATE: I decided to go for the National (Panasonic) RX-7200 a rare Japanese only model with a modified tuner and PSU. It's all been refurbished inside too.

Here's a video of it which the seller sent me.

And yes it would be too rude to ask how much I have paid for it...

Not sure if there's anything good here, but it popped up on my bookface that our local charity shop has a load of boxed new old stock in. This was apparently today;

The Phillips in the very bottom right corner looks interesting.

I had one of those. Blimey, I'd love a look around that place!

Out of interest, where is this shop?

Apologies I forgot to check in on this thread, the shop is in Carlisle, we're in town on Monday so I might pop by and see what's left if you like?

Seen today on the book of faces. Allegedly have sat in a warehouse for 30 years.

Sorry, I haven't looked at this thread for a while. Thanks for the offer, but I'm far too far away.

That has been posted previously in this thread.

Something doesn't seem right here though. The cardboard inserts boasting a highly optimistic 200w look like a modern interpretation trying a bit too hard to be 'period'.

Also, how do you know they are 30 years old? I can't see that anywhere in the ad.

Maybe I'm too cynical in my advancing years, but I'm a bit suspicious about this.
