I'm looking to upgrade my 2014 Samsung UE55HU7500 to a 65" flat TV with a significantly better picture than the 55 I currently have. The main issue I have with the Samsung is the clouding/haloing(?) of darks scenes

The problem is I would ideally like to spend around £2.5k tops.............Is there anything out there that will trump my Samsung now for that price in 65" size, or do I have to wait for Oled prices to come down?
£400 above the budget gets you this http://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue65ks9000-curved...

Reports indicate that almost true black is now achievable but I guess only a personal viewing will dictate if that's goof enough for you.

Other than that I guess it's OLED.

This is what a mate bought, and from this seller.

Amazing set.

This looks bloody incredible
I presume that if you purchased on of these you would have to sit 5 miles from the screen in order to take it all in.
Nope. I have one and the curve makes it work perfectly at normal distance. I don't, however, see the point of curved TVs.

Did you buy the curve because that model only comes as a curve?

How are you finding the picture on the KS9000?

With the prices of the 2016 models being apparently so high (I assumed they'd be going down, at least for lower end models) this seems good value. Shame they don't do a new, flat, Full HD version for about £1,200.
