But to me, and many others who get to hear all this kit far more often than I, still think the Yamahas sound the best in this price group.
Maybe I am lucky, my last three rooms have been incredibly flat before EQing anything, simply changing the crossover points and moving the sub a bit has got me to where adding room EQ has not given any real gains, in fact, often took some of the warmth away and I ended up tweaking it back in.
