Hello all.

My local rugby club are thinking of investing in a projector/screen set up with the hope of attracting more punters to watch the Euro's and other live sport.

I've started doing my own research. The clubs not huge but is on the darker side which I guess is part of the problem with projectors? What sort of money do you need to spend to get a half decent set up? Are we talking 1000's or will somthing sub 1k do the job? Any advice appreciated. Cheers

I suspect (without seeing it) sub 1k would struggle to give the light / distance (throw) that you would need.

You also need to look at what source they want to use, anything from Sky needs a budget for legitimate viewing / subscription.

There's a couple of 50" TV's at the moment and an existing subscription, they're just not big enough to get a big crowd in. Cheers

Cool, so that's covered, it just catches a lot of venues out when they look at the subs and they're significantly higher that a home subscription.

Can you do a sketch of the current layout and sizes?
