Hi Guys,

I am just having my office fitted out, which is at the back of the garden and would love a budget AV set-up. I already have:

1. Panasonic 39" TV - can't remember the model number but it is only 9 months old and brilliant!
2. Monitor Audio Silver speakers for the front L&R
3. Monitor Audio ceiling speaker for the rear L&R
4. REL sub (old.....but my god, nothing come close to the monster - 10 years old)

So I need a AV amplifier, which must have pre-out or at the very minimum zone 2 line oout, so I can run me separate pioneer 1979 Pioneer sa-508 amplifier for my music!

Over to you guys.

I'm happy to spend less and get something off ebay???

Which models to look out for?

You won't go too far wrong with one of these: http://www.whathifi.com/denon/avr-x2200w/review

I have one and it's great. You might want to double check the specs to make sure it does everything you need.

I run the previous model (1050) and I'm very happy with it.

I have just bought one of these and it appears to do everything I need.

Do you need the amp to know what HDMI is?
