The new Meridian MQA technology has been around for a while now, and I was wondering if anybody has embraced it, and if so, what are your thoughts.
Of course, it's always difficult to be subjective* about something you have paid money for, but I'm interested in opinions, either from Meridian DAC (with MQA) owners, or even if you have auditioned it.
I know that "gizlaroc" on here seems to be an ardent fan as he seems to use every opportunity to promote it.
He also seems to be a bit of a Meridian fan
Is it really *that* good? Does it improve digital like the DCS ring dac did back in the 90's?

- or should that be objective? :-)
Not heard it myself yet but I know a few people who work at Meridian. I worked with a couple of them, in the design / R&D department of another speaker manufacturer between 2012 and 2015. These guys have heard a lot of high end kit over the years; in their opinion MQA is very good.
Professionally they would of course say MQA is the bees knees however I know these guys. They are true friends and I know they consider MQA offers a genuine performance improvement.
