Thanks to vex for the heads up on the play 1s on black friday I picked one up..
Any rumours for anymore in the xmas sales, as i'm fancying a play bar
Yes from memory, there is £30 off all the plays, the bar and the sub - except the Play:1 which has £20 off. Any rumours for anymore in the xmas sales, as i'm fancying a play bar
My PH offer was £50 off, on Subs and Bars which I'll offer again is anyone is interested, before Christmas.

May I have a pm ref a playbar and possibly two times a sub and pairs of play 1s, please? I already have a playbar on its own in one room that clearly needs more clout so would like to beef that up with a sub and a pair of play 1s and am talking myself into replicating that total set up in another room. Permission yet to be granted on that though! My PH offer was £50 off, on Subs and Bars which I'll offer again is anyone is interested, before Christmas.

Many thanks.
Hi all,
I'm looking to make the move to Sonos. I live in a long thin apartment with thick walls and can't get any wifi signal in most of it.
I want to install 2 x Play 1s in the lounge. I've read that if you link them together through Sonosnet you can effectively extend the range of the network similar to using wifi extenders.
Question: If I connect one of the Play 1s to my router via Ethernet could I plug in a BOOST 10-15m away, then another Play 1 further away from the BOOST? I.e will the boost work as a range extender even if it isn't plugged into the router?
If not, or if anyone has any other suggestions, they'd be appreciated. I can't use powerline adaptors as the circuits are all on different RCBs. Hoping that Sonos might be the answer not only to multiroom enjoyment but also wifi in my bedroom (Android phones can use the Sonosnet as I understand!)

In answer to your question yes. A boost or indeed any player boosts the signal. You may even find some cheap bridge's on eBay which are the same just older and not as powerful.I'm looking to make the move to Sonos. Awesome, thanks. Just ordered two Play 1s and a boost. Then realised that they don't have line in for my PC. Terrible news - had to order a Play 5 too Yes android allows you to connect to the Sonos 'mesh'

Just to conclude this, I picked up a play bar and sub yesterday, because i'd bought a play 1 on black Friday, that entitled me 15% off my next sonus purchase, ended up paying £930 for both with a 6 year guarantee, well happy with thatAny rumours for anymore in the xmas sales, as i'm fancying a play bar
