Had a main box and mini box operating for a few months.

Hard resets, fixed amber lights, turning TV off and on by will, unresponsive remotes.

Poor menus, no ability to save favourites, the listing of recording is st menu wise. Have to keep scrolling down.

Why not just keep everything like it was with Sky HD. You fking idiots...

Spent all morning on this pile of ste trying to get the mini box to work so junior could watch fking Scooby Doo.

We've had Sky Q for 2 months now.

Other than initial issues with some of the mini boxes losing connection to the main box - it's been great.

We were warned by the sky engineers that the Mesh networking is affected by other devices we had in the house - namely Apple TImeCapsules - which in their experience so far had caused conflicts via the Bonjour protocols. I've not looked into this further technically but since moving the Timecapsule boxes out of the rooms with Sky Q we've had zero sync issues.

Menu system is very different- takes a while to learn but it's fine. Graphical display of programs actually easier to browse than SKy HD+ box previously.

Expect with revisions it will get better.
