After months of deliberation and having sought advise in here we have bought a new tele, ta dahhhhhh. We couldn't decide which to go for oiled or led, in the end we decided to go cheap led and upgrade in a few years.
Our new Hisense 55" is on the way for delivery tomorrow, good reviews and an unbelievable low price of just £530 all in. This tele has what we need being a smart job and apparently decent visual.

What we are looking for now seems to be incredibly difficult to track down, a TV stand. We would like furniture style in light oak with draws/ cupboards to hide away the kit and wires. Also a sliding door(s) to hide away the TV when not in use. Can't find anything like anywhere. Rely upon the masters of PH to guide us to such an item. smile

Comments and advise appreciated as always.

Don't know your budget Crankie, but I have used this company for a very well made and DELIVERED READY ASSEMBLED! - two-drawer filing cabinet. Recommended (No connection, etc .)

Thanks for link. Should have mentioned budget, around up to £700 but hope for less.

I was in richer sounds the other day and asked about them.
"Sorry we have them in stock but not on display" i was told.

So that could mean

We haven't got room to put one out
Or
They are too good and people have stopped buying branded TVs instead.scratchchin
