Ok, in the alexa app, go to 'smart home' then select 'create a group', add the devices into that group and then it should work. I use this for all lights and sockets (lamps) downstairs in a group 'downstairs'. Then I can use the 'turn off downstairs' command and they all go off.
Hope that helps.

How are the cupboard lights on Lightwave? I've only used sockets and mains lights for the alexa groups (although I have relays working fine as well, but they are not in a group). When i say lights off downstairs the cupboard light remains on.
