Samsung Smart TV - Not remembering Youtube sign in?

As per title, I really am impressed with the Samsung's interface with Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, Sky etc - but the youtube App doesn't not save my logged in state. It will for hours, but after a day or two it forgets. I then have to fiddle around with youtube.com/activate etc to get it re-signed in.

It is a 2016 TV, fully up to date with a wired in Ethernet cable. A google shows it is not uncommon, but nothing is coming up in terms of a solution?

Anyone else had issues with this?

Yup, mine does the same.
Bit of a pain but as the TV interface is a bit ste I just cast YouTube from my phone.

Mine also does this. Seems a very common issue, can't find a reliable fix.

My TV is also in the habit of displaying a black screen when first turned on, you need to change the channel and back to get it to pick up a signal. All on a brand new "flagship" model.

Interesting - just got my KS7500 two weeks ago and yt was fine until yesterday when it would make me sign every time I opened the app - no issues before that. Was hoping it was a youtube thing rather than Samsung (and that it would fix itself quicker)...

My research does indeed show this as a common issue. Such a shame, as the Samsung design is so intuitive/smart.

When i find some free time at home, ill give Samsung a ring and update this thread accordingly.
