Which has a HUGE stain on it, will this wipe/clean off? or is it a beating and an insurance job? not had chance to try clean it and don't want to use the wrong product.

Thanks.

Whats Lysol?

I use optical lens wipes on my monitor (I bought them to clean my glasses), it seems to get everything off with a bit of rubbing.

Because my tv screen might be ruined? sorry I'm not following why you're rolling your eyes? That's what insurance is for is it not?

It's not domestic violence if there's a lesson to be learned for her.

No, insurance is not there to replace something damaged by incompetence. What section are you thinking of claiming under? Accidental damage?

Try removing it with alcohol? Isopropanol perhaps?

Your wife cleaned the telly with Lysol yikes

She hasn't got muddled up and been using screen cleaner for "feminine hygiene" ablutions has she hehe

The outer surfaces of LCD displays are notoriously delicate, so it is probably beyond revival.

Hmmmm, we have just had a baby...

Looks like someone's getting a beating through a pillow tonight.

Our (then two year old) daughter decided to copy her mum, and got hold of some Jiff or similar and decided to wipe our two week old Plasma.

Insurance Company replaced it without a quible, although they did make damn sure that they collected the old tv. Which the driver then chucked loose in the back of the van as he has forgotten to bring packaging and straps...

Similar accident here last month, the OH decided to clean behind the tv. As my tv was on a stand at a angle in the alcove you have to twist it to move it. She decides to twist the tv way to far then walk away to grab the duster, resulting in me having a modified 42 inch tv with a footstool in the middle.furious

But that's a genuine accident. Allowing claims because someone used the wrong cleaning product is exactly why insurance premiums are going up. The rest of us are paying for this stupidity.

But it was an accident, I'm sure she didn't damage it on purpose! If she did she's defo for it. Anyways, I live in the States so that won't bump YOUR premium for one and haven't actually claimed have I?

How is the above any different from accidently using the wrong product? IF I do claim, they'll say yes or no, I'll call you first and let you know though, if you're not happy I'll hold off, that work for you?

Edited for stupid addition of words.
