Hi folks
Please note - I've now closed the bookings for the event and submitted the paper work.
I've included a buffer of places for additional people if they want to come, but it is only about 5 places or so.

Ok, all the paper work has been submitted and accepted by Duxford, so this event is now fixed and a go.

Ops, I didn't spell out one thing for this event which I did in last year's post, but not this year's and as a conversation with someone tonight just reminded me of something in this area I thought I should respell it out... This event is for TVRCC members onlyThe reason for this is that Duxford require liability insurance which the club has for members. So, if you are not a club member, I'm afraid you will have to sit this one out - at least as a displaying member of the public. Reviewing the list of names, there are only a few I do not recognise as club members, so if you are not a member, then please do not join the TVRs in the display ring. I should have put this in the details before, but even I forget things sometimes - not often - but sometimes

Hi folks, Due to Chatsworth weekend and a few other things happening end of this week - like putting the dog down - I'm running a bit behind on this one. I need to find out what time they want us to park up and the organiser isn't in today, so I'll sent out a route plan later this week. We'll be meeting up the same place as last year, but this time I'll think we'll nominate a different guide to take us to Duxford. Last year's one got us slightly lost (just a bit) Thanks!

Okay, just checked with the organiser - the gates open at 0930, so I suggest we get there for about 10am.
I'll update the route as appropriate and send it out tomorrow.

As Duxford is a working airport it is important that everyone read and respect this rules as it is a requirement for all those attending the show. Hi folks
I spoke with Duxford today about the event and the rain and they assure me the fields are draining well and that the route they have planned upto where the cars are being displayed is being kept on hard surfaces as much as possible.
So baring a torrent of rain, we should be good to go.
