Hi there, I know a few people have booked into Milsoms Hotel Canford Cliffs however they are now fully booked, is anyone staying at another local hotel which has space and secure parking?

If anyone fancies camping, I keep a caravan at Pear Tree Farm caravan and camping site, Organford Road near Wareham about 5 miles from Poole, nice site, plenty of room for tents,spotless bogs and showers, that will be my base for this gathering, its probably best to book tho as they get busy with the school hols.

MrChips as silly as it may sound, you might find 6:30 too late! If the other quay meets are anything to go by, you'll end up in the overflow area about a 5-10 min walk away. There are a lot of the TVRCC going to this that haven't registered their intent on here, so could become a bit of a free for all.

Are there specific joining instructions? I know of three ways onto the quay just wondered if the organisers specify which to use.

So the list means nothing at all then unfortunately! It's first come first served, just the same as any Quay for my Car. My advice would be to be there as early as 5.30 and park up waiting for them to open the barrier.

Everyone - if you read back through the thread, you'll see that I already stated that Poole Tourism don't guarantee a place.
HOWEVER, they have managed to cope with 120 Porsches before, so we should be good unless we get inordinate amounts of public TVR owners turning up.
As I stated, the earlier you arrive, the more likely you are to get a better spot, and whilst I've arranged for a handful of prime spots for selected cars (like the Typhon), the vast majority will just have to arrange to be there for 6pm or earlier. People arriving after 6.30-7pm may struggle to get a decent spot.
Poole Tourism are NOT keen on people arriving very early, as this can block the access to the quay as people queue up, so I'd not recommend arriving earlier than 5.30pm as you'll probably get turned away.
I have agreed with Poole Tourism to be there early myself to help arrangements, and ensure a select few get the correct spots reserved for them. This will be finalised in the week prior to the event.
In the meantime, can everyone make sure they put their number plate and estimated arrival time in the table, and this will assist with ensuring everyone gets onto the quay.

as mentioned above, I've tentatively agreed with Poole Tourism that we can reserve a handful of spaces for specific/unusual cars. At the moment, I have in mind, and this will depend on final confirmation from Poole Tourism: - T14HON: Typhon
- Boosted Cerb: Supercharged LS Cerbera
If anyone else attending has a particularly rare or unusual TVR, then please post to the list explaining why. Also, regarding arrival times, just add a reply to the thread with your time, and I'll edit the table when I check next, hence keeping the thread short(er).
