Being the ex owner of PJ52 FLA / T666 SPY And the current owner of K377 DPP
Well I have been saying it for many months if not years these guys have provided me with the greatest of respect and i would not dream of going any where else .
The commitment shown and felt has always provided me with great assurance and I would throughly recommend to all and every one . Both Phil and Bens knowledge of my cars and thier individual needs has always been a pleasure , I can assure you I don't give the keys to my cars and garage to just any one .
Can't wait to see TVRs back in Offords in great numbers .
See you all there ( well if not raining/ private joke to some)
Long time coming , but well deserved .
Andy

I wish them all the best and sincerely hope the new management team can turn the business around, but for me the damage was done an age ago and despite living just 5 mile away I'll always choose a round trip of 100 miles to get my car serviced - once bitten twice shy and all that. May pop along Saturday though to have a nose and chat....

I can echo the same as above (once bitten twice shy), although will pop along as you never know we may hear a public appology for the problems they created for owners that used them in the past.

They have helped a good few of us out in the last 3 or 4 months and quickly / cost efective and the cars have been spot on, Andy Tank , Andy Hills , David Cooper , and myself and so on I think you need to talk to them, Phil and Ben are trying to rebuild people confidence again now they are on there own. It would be good to have a TVR Repair centre again even if it is not for service but emergency or small repairs or MOT.

I'm obviously not paying attention at the back! What happened to the original team?
My SAAB came from them and they were always very helpful(some fun old SAAB courtesy cars as well if you got a tweaked one).

I've had mixed experience of Offord in the past too - some good and some not so good...
On balance though, I don't think the TVR community can afford to be too sniffy about this. The number of dealers is steadily declining and those that remain will need to keep their businesses viable. If Phil and Ben are genuine about a new start, then good luck to them...

In a way I do agree with you but as already stated they really need to apologise to once loyal customers who had their fingers badly burned and suffered very poor workmanship and service, I realise they'd be making amends for the old management team but it's still the name and stigma surrounding it. I agree with the concept of it being a handy place for small niggles whereby a long round trip would be a bit of a headache but they do have an uphill climb to rebuild their reputation. As already mentioned I may pop along and say hello, see what they have to say/offer but I know I won't use them for routine servicing and major work. Out of interest how has this been advertised as prior to your post there's been nothing on PH which consists of a vast number of TVR owners.

Hi Tony
Fliers were put out at the Mini-BSG and various TVRCC people have been distributing the invite to email groups and TVRCC forum etc.
Plus there have been other threads on here about the event I've seen.
Cheers!

Like all things in life , we are all only as good as what we did yesterday , feel assured what these guys have been up to over the last many days is a credit to any garage let alone a TVR one .
If you guys are reading this , then it's a big well done from this loyal customer .
To see the Offords full of TVR s again is just exciting without a doubt ,
See you all there
