I'm also up for a Sunday lunchtime meet, would it be best to use the Crows Nest for a 1st session, familiarity etc?

a sunday afternoon meet somewhere in bucks when the weather gets better sounds like a good idea. i think theres another couple of tivvers in aylesbury apart from me. think one of them is on here with a green tuscan,& i see a silver cerb popping & banging about now & then...theres a couple more chims as well i think but ive not seen any of them at the old bucks meet so dont know if they are on here?
wavey
There are at least another 3 Chimaeras and a griff around here. Some of us go to the Oxford meet. I am sure the others would be willing to meet up locally. Lets see if we can arrange a meet soon.
I'm the Silver Cerb popping and banging around Aylesbury, I'd be happy to meet up on a Sunday.
I've been following Greenfly to the Oxford meet but he drives to fast and I can't keep up ;D
Think he's been trying to lose me!

Be good to catch up ...... Just kidding Ian a Tuscan would never lose a Cerb ....... D

Loud, What about the pub we went to in Missenden area where we met Jackie and her very young sister before she was married, Nikki ! And you need a bit of a drive outside Aylesbury.
It's about time you got it sorted as you said "I need to get out and I have nothing else to do" sleep

blimey mr h, that was years ago! your thinking of the firecrest, just outside wendover on the a413. its not a bad place but is gonna be busy on a sunday afternoon & the car park is pretty full everytime ive been past. will keep on looking. maybe not a bad idea to rotate venues so if its a bit far out one month for people then another month its a bit closer? tbh its not like it going to become the official bucks meet as ive been told thats possibly still active. just a casual sunday meet.

Used to rotate monthly meet venues when I lived in Bridgnorth & went out with the Shropshire lot, worked very well. Happy for any suggestions for an initial meeting - would the crows nest be the best bet for a starter?

i think so alan, im gonna pop up sunday about 2ish & see how busy the rear car park is. normally on a friday night we have it to ourselves round there. other suggestions are more than welcome. joe mentioned meeting up in a couple of weeks for a chat, if anyone wants to come along your most welcome.

I think some Members still meet up at the Crows Nest. IIRC there isn't a RO for the Bucks Region anymore . Willing to be corrected though .

Very few. Nobody stepped forward to become the RO and very few members turn up for the meetings. Why not set up a new meet?

Worth setting a date ? 17th Feb 11:30 Crows Nest? Can always go for a run out - weather dependant!

17th Feb, works for me. I'm from near Winslow and I occasionally went to the Bucks meet.

17th would be fine for me, wont be doing a run out personally as my cars pulling severley to the left at the moment but can limp it up to the pub, im only ten min away & it would be good to meet some new faces. 11.30 or would you guys rather meet after lunch? doesnt matter to me but didnt know if people wanted a sunday lunch with family before meeting up?
