Hi
having not been to Chatsworth before and pitching up in the plebmobile to do some productive research (I hope), can anyone shed any light on which admission charge I'll need to account for. I'm only there for the cars not interested in the house or gardens
cheers

I have a spare seat for Saturdays run out from Chatsworth - my passenger chickened out so if any one wants to be chauffered in a TuscanS they are welcome. Its the reflex charcoal one with charcoal wheels. Reg LF51...
On the subject of the run out, local speed cameras have already been mentioned. BUT I should draw everyones attention to the village of Waterhouses on the Leek / Ashbourne road. It has 3 fixed cameras, at begining, middle and end of the village. You MUST pass all 3 before you boot it. Lots of people thought there was only 1, or 2, and regretted it.
Weather is going to great, see you all there!

Hello all,
Have owned my Chim for 2 years but didn't make last year due to torrential conditions!
Can someone just clarify the leaving strategy? I.E I get there at 10 but need to go by one/two, are you ok to just start up and drive off or are we there for a set amount of time and people leave en mass?
I also have a spare seat from Sheffield if anyone fancies it....

You can arrive and leave when you like. Generally we park up with the same model grouped together.
Last year was a bit different as it was foul weather and we were all soaked/frozen, but other years when drier and more cars I would say most cars have arrived by 11.30ish and start going about 2.30 onwards on average but still plenty around before and after those times.
Hopefully the grass isn't too wet to park on.

We have just arrived in the area and went to have a nosey at chatsworth house. Is there a specific entrance to go to tomorrow as we were left a little confused.
Cheers
Steve & Gillian
Don't worry, if you head for Chatsworth house car park at the front of the house you will see the TVR parking area on the right, you cannot miss it. Cheers
