TVR Chatsworth Gathering 2013 details
Discussion
Last year the drive back was great and great weather (but not in the UK)!!, used a full tank of fuel in 50 mins in Germany embarrassing a few BMW drivers and Porches!. Had a "dog fight" with a Griff in Holland, had what looked like a proffessional camera crew filming me in Hamburg from the back of a landrover for about 2 miles. Took the long way round over the mountains in Norway avoiding a few dear and a Moose! taking in many tunnels. Tagged onto a Norwegian classic sports car club drive out. Looking forward to the adventure again. Hope the weather is better this year in the UK. Approx 2,500 mile round trip (inc ferry miles)
Sorry, new to Chatsworth.....but will be living near Newark by then, so will be coming on the Sunday.
Three questions:
1. Is there a run to the event from East Mids, and if so, how do I join it?
2. Are there drives around the area on Sunday, or are we just parked up for the entire day?
3. Do I have to have buffed out all the stone chips by 28 April? I will have spent the entire previous weekend belting around RAF Marham on their charity track days, and the car will probably be somewhat pebble dashed I imagine.

Good skills and that's what having a car is all about. There are drives and social gatherings if you look around the forum and I assure you you will be made welcome. Rain or shine its a great day out and shine or pebble dashed its a TVR Vee8ight said:

Hi Kevin,
Will be there again this year but unfortunately I'm no closer to owning a TVR. I'll have to make do with a look around and a dream!
We all started with a dream, I was one of the lucky ones, as I never thought I'd own anything like what I've had or got. Will be there again this year but unfortunately I'm no closer to owning a TVR. I'll have to make do with a look around and a dream!
Hope your dream comes true soon, and don't ever think you will never get one, nobody knows what the future will bring.
