Ladies and Gentlemen,

The organizers of the Supercar Siege are proud to announce that the event is back for 2014. Sunday the 18th of May is the date for your diary.

Once again this is being kindly hosted by Leeds Castle, (Kent), and in support of Royal Navy & Royal Marine Children's Fund. We can all automatically identify with the reports of death and injury surrounding adults in the conduct of their duties. However, having worked closely with service welfare organisations, the extent of the devastation to families’ is quite unimaginable and especially to children who lose a parent. The effect goes on for years and the trauma and acute sense of loss is life changing. Last year we managed to raise a total of £10,000 for the charity, through the 300 cars on display and the amazing amount raised through the Dream Rides – from the Sporting Bears. TVRs were the second biggest marque being narrowly beaten by the Mustangs who had made an amazing effort for that event. This time I think we should be able to dominate!

We managed to get close to 4000 visitors through the gates and we hope to double that this year.
We also learned a lot and took on board the feedback given and hope that this year’s event will be a massive improvement.

The day is open to all and will have a relaxed family focused feel to it, highlights include:

- 600 cars ranging from iconic hatch backs to hyper cars and everything in between.

- Small traders’ village selling specifically targeted wears for the car enthusiast.

- Dream Rides courtesy of the Sporting Bears.

- Huge array of children's activities including a brand new play park.

- Static Army Air Corps Helicopter, *Apache currently booked in but subject to change.

- Access to tour the stunning Castle and grounds which can take all day to get around if you do it properly.
There will be an RV at a service station just off the motorway such that we can convoy in if you are interested.

Prices are as follows:

Static car display/club display pass is £10 + £1 booking fee
This covers all passengers in the vehicle (max 4 pax).
The normal entry prices are £21 per adult and £18.50 per child so a huge saving for those attending.

We have provisionally given 30 club stand spaces for TVRs. This can be revised if the take up is more.

For those that don't want to show their cars and want to park in the public car parks there will be a 2 for 1 scheme being run closer to the event.

Points to note:

All cars must be on the stand by 8:00 and remain in place until 16:30. This has been agreed with the venue.
No revving of engines. There is a vast array of wildlife in the castle grounds including Peacocks which distress easily.

Payment will be via our online site (details will be supplied shortly) which is going live mid-March and the cut-off point will be the 1st of May.

Any questions feel free to ask on TVR stuff or deal direct with: Ross Thomson ross@supercarsiege.co.uk
Please put your name down if you are interested in attending. Here is a bit of an insight on last time: http://youtu.be/BmDCQWPMU7Y

I would strongly recommend joining the Bears http://www.sportingbears.co.uk/. Great people and great causes and so much to choose from.

I think this was the event I registered for yesterday via the just giving site sent out by NCS to the south east e-group. I can't see any reference to how to buy tickets on the web site though.

Guys, here is the latest info I have:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Car’s will need to be in place by no later than 8:45am and will need to remain in position until 16:30hrs due to the fact that the general public will be buying entrance tickets up to this point.

They are hoping to have as many cars on display as possible, due to this they are offering an amazing price for people wishing to attend. Car owners wishing to be on the static car/club displays will now pay £10 per car and not per person.
The following car clubs are already down to attend:
TVR Car Club
911 Enthusiast Club
911 UK
Classic Corvette Club UK
GT86.org
GTO Owners Club
GTR Owners Club
Lotus7 Owners Club
Marcos Owners Club
MissBanzai
Mitsubishi Lancer Register
Mustang Owners Club
NSX Owners Club
Pistonheads
Porsche Owners Club
South East Lotus Owners Club
South East Scoobies
To pay please go to this Justgiving page: http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/supercarsieg...

They are now asking for £10 minimum donation for each car on display.

I cannot stress enough, please make sure you put the following down with your payment in the message section: see here -

Hey ho, very latest:

Hello all,

First of all, everyone here at Team Supercar Siege would like to thank you for your generous donations.
Without the effort of those displaying the cars, the show would simply be two middle aged men stood in a field looking fabulous.

I'm sure the biggest questions on everyone’s mind right now is “how do we get into the venue?”

All we need is for drivers (who have donated) to turn up promptly between 07:30hrs and 08:30hrs on Sunday the 18th of May. You are heading for Leeds Castle Main Entrance, please note there are road works signs at the entrance road but you can still gain access.

Once inside the first gate you will be met by our staff who will simply need to know which club stand you are on. If you shout and scream your club name as you enter we will be very happy.
From there they will direct you to one of four zones in the exterior car park which will enable you to collect your display pass.
Once you have your pass we will instruct you to head on in where you will be met by more staff who will assist you to park in the correct location.

We have chosen to do this so we have no issues with cars meeting at the service station as per last year.

If you have friends and family who wish to come along to the show separately yourself, please follow this link to our Facebook page where you will find a 2 for 1 voucher: Facebook

Timings: Clubs stands entrance opens at 07:30hrs and closes at 09:00hrs.
Public opening time: 10:30hrs
Closing: Cars on display will be allowed to leave at 16:30hrs. (The last tickets for the public will be sold at this time).

Address:
Leeds Castle,
Maidstone,
Kent
ME17 1PL

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,
