I meant what I said - it's someone else's turn to be creative. I enjoyed my two goes at it, and it's not that hard work either, I just feel I would rather follow someone else's ideas this time.

IMHO the start and finish locations, and anything to follow afterwards, are the tricky bits, and the bits that need doing first, as they dictate the timing of the run and its direction. They must have catering and toilets.

Once you have sorted those, together with any tunnel closures close to either of them, the route is relatively easy to sort out. There are only so many tunnels, some definite MUSTS, and above all else it needs to be easy to follow as half the runners and riders will get lost if you give them the slightest chance. One evening of concentration with a street map is all it takes for someone who knows central London reasonably well, but the main organiser will need to do the complete run the weekend before the event in order to make sure that everything works, there are no long term roadworks and the start and finish work too.

If the route planner wants to send me the directions to sanity check, i will be happy to do so.

My name is only not yet on the list because my beloved (NO, my wife, not the car ) has requested a European touring holiday this year, first holiday since a week on horseback six years ago in Thetford Forest, so i could be away at the wrong time, and i don't yet know when the wrong time is.

It's a weekend cruise around central London from a pre-arranged start point at first sparrow-fart, following a pre-arranged route that takes in as many tunnels as possible. Generally attracts 50-70 TVRs, makes a lot of noise, and is a bundle of fun. Finished by 9.30 am.

Usually a 6am meet for a 6.30 departure, or thereabouts. Roads are quietest then.

Personally from experience ,Sunday is defo the better day for it . Last time we had it on a Saturday there were too many workers vehicles about earlier on and tooo many shoppers later on . Just my 2p worth

You have't signed to anything yet Robert

This is just to get an idea of who is interested doing a tunnel run,what Month and which day suits the majority.

I personally think the date should be set to the majority,and if that turns out to be a Sunday in June or a Saturday in May or July then you/us will have to decide if we can make this date around your/our plans.

Even when the date is set and another chart posted you are not 100% committed,it just gives the organizers an example and idea of how many cars are attending.

I have only attended one TITT which was held on a Saturday so don't have much to compare,but for those who have done multiple runs and their opinions are that Sunday works better then I would listen to those opinions.

For me again personally my diary is pretty clear and about the only day i would struggle for would be Sat 12th July,so my name is on the list but if it happened on that day I'm out

Hi I am have a contact at Dunsfold as they are coming to Beaulieu to sell tockets for wings and wheels also they are allowing us to use the Car covered in toy cars too and supplying the Top Gear Tickets for my Raffle Prize. I am helping to arrange a REV OFF competition too there. Would ask as sure would get space if everyone wanted to end up there. ?
