This run starts from the edge of the Peak District and Sheffield, meeting at 10am ( S119PX ) This run will take us on some of the amazing Peak District roads and through the hills. We are stopping at the Spa town of Buxton for lunch where we have special permission to display the cars in the pedestrian area at the Pavillion Gardens ( SK176BE ).
Then moving onto Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and a beer stop at the beautiful Monsal Head, with stunning views. This run was intended for the SYTVRCC but we have had alot of interest from other local regions so please feel free to join us.
Regards
Kev.

Unfortunately mine won't be out of RTR - I've recently moved to Whirlow so hopefully get out with the local TVRs in the summer. I'll keep an ear out for you though on the day!

Guys, Kev has just sent me through the days route.......
I was kinda expecting a short trundle through Peak District and Derbyshire..... well.....

I've been biking (motorbike) for nearly 25 years and the route seems to have included a number of my favourite routes!!

When this was billed as a Peak District Tour, I hadn't realised it was covering the WHOLE Peak District!!!!

Really looking forwards to the run out!!

Thanks Mike, some good driving roads on route. And some of the best of the Peak District scenery. Lunch at the Pavillion Gardens coffee And beer at the Monsal Head beer Matlock Bath will be a bit slow, but a good chance for the tourists to see the cars.

Good to see Tony Hodgson's beautifully restored Taimar on the front cover of this months Sprint. Tony and the Taimar will be on the Peak District run with us, so a good chance to see this lovely car.

Hi Steve, it would be great to see you in Buxton. We should be arriving at the Pavillion Gardens at about 12 - 12:30 ish. We will be going in through the main public car park of the Gardens, then into the pedestrian area to display the cars. Then after lunch we will be heading out into the Peaks.

Hi Kev,

What time are you expecting this to run until? I think I can come along (will have to run off if I get called out to work) but might need to be back in Hull around tea time ish. Are you passing anywhere near Buxton Raceway, or 'High Edge' as I know it?? I'm originally from Mansfield and my dad and 2 uncles used to go banger racing there! I've not been since I was really young so would be good to have a nosey nerd
