Warwickshire and tees valley met up at the airfield in Newquay on Saturday,
Lots of TVR's!
The majority of the Warwickshire group stayed in Crantock and used the Cornishman along with the Bowgie.
Great part of the country!
Shame you missed it.

Yes there was, we did a joint event with Andy Honey (Cornish RO) ... I spoke to Tracey at the Cornishman to reserve the room for 30 odd of us Friday night...so that was why we were at the Cornishman....Steve Wardle (ex Cerbera owner) moved there from WWM drinks there you will know him his wife is called Dawn.

The WWM part of the event is called The Bowgie Run....been doing it for about 8 years now....primarily Warwickshire and West Midlands folk (as I am the RO) BUT we welcome folks from all regions, DJR is from Buckinghamshire, we had Amika and Graham Abbot (Speed 12 owners) from Yorkshire, Heather and Howard Bryan who brought along the White Elephant from Lancashire..Petclub and other folks from East Midlands, folk from Cotswold Three Counties, people from Devon regin....plus Daggsy and his good lady Gill from Tees Valley Region....

On Saturday night we organised a BBQ at the Bowgie for 118 people...in fancy dress!

We theme the event each year this year it was "Cirque Du Bowgie"....Clowning Around in Cornwall, next year god knows what...last year was "woodstock!"

We got back Last night...some are returning today...we went last Friday...

Andy Honey also organised a "Rumble on The Runway" up at the airport...did a brilliant job on static displays and an excellent run out through stunning countryside...they stayed at our site and we all had a brilliant time...see the TVRCC Cornish Regions and WWM regional forums for more details..

I saw the convoy last Saturday as I was a mile from the airport. Ten minutes later caught up with them again as I headed back to the A30. Great to see them all. I was in my euro box at the time but still, it felt good to be mingling.

Be great to meet you....give Dawn a big hug from Ginny and myself.....certainly looks like we will be down there again next year....everyone enjoyed it by the, look of things ....essentially this is a chilled out weekend very loose itinery with an emphasis on fun, friendship, relaxing.....and obviously TVR' s ....but it would appear that the first three take priority on this one...despites the number of cars doing this run we had no mechanical issues.....well the isn't exactly true our mundano exhaust back box snapped!

my cerbera provided the stuff to sort it....brilliant week tho...

Thanks for the post

TVRCC membership is not essential but the TVRCC forums are where the event was posted. Its not my local region but The Bowgie Run has been running for years, I'm sure Steve Guest will be along soon to give a fuller information posting.
The 2014 event was great and well worth the trip from The Tees Valley Region and as it was on your door step you missed a good un.

We had a great time, if this event happens next year we would all love to stay longer. That beach was to die for, the weather was perfect only bettered by the company.

I'll push a few more of the Yorkshire crowd in the same direction next year.... (hopefully)..
