Duxford Imperial War Museum - car show 3rd May - numbers

Hi folks

Following on from a successful spring car show at Duxford last year, I'm now starting the process of getting us registered for the Duxford Spring Car show this year (if everyone is up for it again, of course! biggrin) We had loads of TVRs last year from a number of different regions.

The Duxford imperial war museum is located just south of Cambridge and is very easy to reach just off the M11 (a couple of minutes at most).

It can be reached from Stansted in just under 30-40mins up the M11.

Displaying at the show gives you free access to the entire museum site at a much cheaper rate than standard entry fees.

It is also the home of one of the best Air Museums in the world and is generally a great day out. bounce

Details of Duxford can be found here @ http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/
Photos from previous shows can be found here @ http://s847.photobucket.com/user/alex_gray255/slid...

If you are interested in coming, then please put your names below so I can get the arrangements made to get us the right number of places!

This event is open to any regions who want to come. However, due to insurance reasons only TVRCC members can come with us.

Video from 2014 is here to give a taster of what it is like...

Many thanks!

Hi,

Yes, it is £10 pounds which is a snippet off the normal entry price which I think
is usually double or so that,

Cheers!

About to trade in my Chimaera which I've owned for 9 years for a T350C. Never realised selling her would be this difficult! Am I doing the right thing??? Either way I will be at Duxford 3rd May. Will renew my Car Club membership.

biggrin Always good to have the occasional change. If you don't like the T350, can always go back to a Chim!

They are very different beasts though

True indeed! The Chim is a burberling cruiser, the T350 is sharper, more aggressive, less relaxing to drive. well, that's from only one hour behind the wheel. I think it's one of the prettiest cars ever made so need to give it a go smile
