Hi everyone,

This month the Nomads are meeting up at The Stanley Arms, Macclesfield Forest, SK11 0AR at 1pm on Sunday 22nd February.

Hopefully most of the recent snow will have cleared and the roads will be passable, because there are some lovely scenic views on the way there, and we are hoping for a really good turn out, just like January's very successful showing. smile

See you all there,
Take care.

Excellent. I'll be there, might even bring the tuscan if no snow. Terrific run from Matlock so good choice for me.

Potatoes, Of course VX's are welcome - I have LY031! But as RO will have to toe the line with my TVR! Glen - less of the "undesirables" please!

I think we will be mostly chatting inside the pub tomorrow! beer
We can all look through the windows to watch Potatoes drooling over the TVRs.

Don't forget to bring the factor 50 sunscreen if you intend coming topless folks. wink

Just popped up that way to walk the dog.

Saw a Chimaera edging down old Buxton road, as it joins Buxton road (near Macclesfield) I gave the driver the thumbs up, however the level of concentration on his face meant he couldn't see anything other than the slush covered 15% slope he was having to navigate.

I blame it on Glen's factor 50! Thanks all who tried and well done Glen for getting there and evacuating in time! It has been suggested we try again next week (weather permitting!). Let me know and I will make the arrangements.

Wedge was sure footed until a couple of miles from the pub. Then we started drifting...... a lot..... made it home in one piece but never had to concentrate so hard on keeping on the black stuff

We got to Buxton then turned round, on the way back we stopped in the pub we all met up in last month, and had our dinner there.
Amazing the difference in the weather just a couple of miles down the road.

Guys thanks for all attempting - only Sherpa Glen with his 4 wheel drive "S" managed to make it to the pub before having to evacuate sharpish!

It has been suggested we try again next week pending Ides of March and of course the weather(see earlier post) - let me know.

We were busy today so couldn't make it - fingers crossed we get some rapid global warming for next week!

Bet Glen still had his top off wink
