TVRCC High Peak - Oil Can Cafe meet 29th March

It has been suggested that we meet for 10.00am for breakfast as opposed to 1.00pm, and then do a variation of the "Velvet Revolution" Run.
If we have a definite 20 (+) the café will open up ay 9.30 and give a tour of the museum. If not then it is a case of turning up and taking "pot luck"!
Coincidentally, The SY region have the "Dambuster Run" starting from here on the 22nd so if any member is joining that then perhaps 1.00pm may be better on the 29th?

FEATHERBED RUN
The route takes in well-known roads and it is more than likely you will know a route to any of the destinations in the event you get lost!
Start from Oil Can Café, Hepworth 2.15 pm– 2.30pm or thereabouts!
Take B6106 to Holmfirth.
Turn Left onto A6024 over Holme Moss.
At T junction turn Right onto A628.
Travel approx. ½ mile and turn Left onto B6105 to Glossop.
At traffic lights in centre of Glossop (just after station) turn left onto A57 (Snake Pass).
At traffic lights at end of Ladybower Reservoir turn right onto A6013 (Bamford). Follow road to T junction (Petrol Station will be on right).
Turn Right on A625 to Hope & Castleton.
Go through Castleton and turn Left to go up Winnats Pass. At top turn right and follow road through to Chapel-en-le-Frith and turn left onto A6 towards Buxton.
Reaching the button roundabout in Buxton turn right under viaduct and follow the road round past Aldi.
At roundabout (Palace Hotel on right) turn right (2nd exit) onto A5004 to Whaley Bridge.
Finish will be at the Shady Oak, Fernilee. (approx. 5 mls on right).
