Great first day guys, sorry a family illness prevented me staying on for day 2.
Easy to spot our yellow leader (Richard) as you approached me before Padiham and some fantastic roads through the Yorkshire Dales and on up to the outskirts of Brough. Those roads from Settle to Hawes are personal favourites. Great meal and gathering at Brampton then Penrith and down through the Lakes, in good weather throughout. Particularly loved the sight and sound of the Tamora when pushed, great to follow that for a long section. Nearly suffered bladder failure on the last long section...we gentlemen of a certain age....hence my sudden disappearance from the convoy!
Really looking forward to the pics from a great day of TVR driving.

Just a quick post to say it was really good to meet up with all you Tees Valley Rural Community Council guys 'n' gals on the Lakeland trip. You seem like a nice bunch And thanks Lindsey Lee for spotting the Vulcan that Richard arranged for our saturday lunchtime flypast.

If you wanted to come up to Beamish then I would highly recommend the Punch Bowl at Edmundbyers as the B6277 & B6278 are cracking roads.

I'm pretty sure we can come up with a decent days run out ( say Sat) - how far do you want (100? 150? 200? miles - starting from the south of our region close to York? Leeds? Teesside? and a short run to Beamish (Sun). Great roads in North York Moors / North York Dales / Durham.
