Good to meet you Steve, hope you will be over this way again soon. Its not been officially announced yet but The Chatsworth event is on again this year on Sunday 4th October. We are doing a run out on Saturday the 3rd which is a 75% re run of today. Main difference is the start is from Chatsworth House. More details to follow later.

Thanks to everyone who turned up. I had a few more than expected but things ran pretty much to plan. It was a bit of a squeeze getting us all in at the Pavillion Gardens Buxton, and the guy on the gate almost had a heart attack when he saw us all.....

Saw a few of you this evening as I was heading towards Buxton in my Elise, a t350, Tuscan, chin, taimar ( I think), followed by an s series. All heading up the a6 towards Manchester from Buxton way around five ish. Just got the Elise to fill the chimaera shaped hole I've had in my life since last year. Wish I'd known about this before hand. Looks like you all had a good day out!

I can't understand why they wanted us to leave before the band started playing....

As we were passing through the gate at about 2 mph, I blipped the throttle a couple of times, and the lady official shouted at me: "SLOW DOWN!"
Who, me? angel

My journey home was quite pleasant...

Brilliant day out Kev, nicely organised and I'm amazed we kept together so much of the time.
It was a real pleasure to be out there in convoy watching the people as we growled our way though.
Castleton was really fun for that.

And at the top of Winnats pass a guy in a Ford something-or-other said "Bloody Lovely" as we queued to get through the gate.

What had you been plying your mum with though. She was having such fun balancing on her shoes later on up at Monsall Head.

Castleton : Front of the queue is somewhere that way...

...and the back of the queue is somewhere that way. This side of the mountain anyway.
