Saturday the 3rd we have the drives out around the Peak District, and Sunday the 4th is the main event. TVR.s at Chatsworth gathering. This event will be held as in previous years on the grounds directly in front of the magnificent Chatsworth House. This has in the past attracted hundreds of cars, and this year there will also be trade stands. Advance tickets for the Sunday £5 bookable through the club office 01952822126 (TVRCC members only) or on the gate entry £7 per TVR for members and non members

As promised, here are details of the second run. Well, really it is just a different starting point for those travelling up/down the M1 on Saturday. It may be better for those travelling from a long distance away, as it will save about 1.5hrs since it starts at Junction 29 of the M1 at 11.00am.
Exit M1 at junction 29 and take the A617 Towards Chesterfield. Rendevous at the layby on left just a few hundred yards down the road. The route is about 33 miles through Baslow, Calver, Grindleford, Winnets Pass and eventually to Buxton where it meets with the other group. After dinner, both groups travel to Monsal Head.
Maps and post codes are available.

The second run will start from Junction 29 of the M1 at 11.00am.
Take the A617 towards Chesterfield and meet in the first layby you reach.
Both runs take you through the beautiful Peak District countryside and meet together for lunch at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, SK176BE. We have our own display parking area on the prom at the Gardens, and we have reserved seating in the Pavilion café for lunch. Please look for the small Union Jack flags on our tables.

Both groups will leave together for an afternoon scenic run to the spectacular Monsal Head pub, DE45 1NL, with its amazing views. Maps and directions for both runs will be available at the start.

A map for the Second run is here:

Tees Valley gang will discuss and make decision as not everyone goes on the runs.I'm sure that as in the past well planned and thought out routes will make them all enjoyable.

Don't forget these great runs on Saturday.
For those making their way to run 1 starting from Chatsworth House just go over the bridge to the House and you will see us in the main car park outside the House. We will need to leave here at 10:30 as we have special permission to drive through the park to the Golden Gate exit.
And for run 2 please meet just off Junction 29 of the M1 in the direction of Chesterfield. The 1st layby on the left, starting at 11am.
Weather is looking ok so hope to see lots of you there.
Regards
Kev.

Very short run out for me frown
Drove down from Teesside and then it died in Chesterfield. Traced to a non functional fuel pump. Breakdown man confirmed it had 12v so gave it a few taps and it started. Tried to go to the lunch at Buxton but it failed again just before Buxton took a while to get it started so decided to head to the hotel. Now pub o clock. Will try to get to Chatsworth tomorrow.

Big thanks to all who made the runs today. What a fantastic start to the Chatsworth weekend. It was great to see you all parked outside the magnificent Chatsworth House. And the drive through the park on the private road to the Golden Gate was an amazing sight of TVR,s winding through the park. Hope you all enjoyed the scenery and roads of the Peak District. We seemed to be getting lots of interest on the prom at the Pavillion Gardens in Buxton. And hope you managed to sample the Monsal beer and great views at the end.
