bugger! why did I not see this! went for a drive out today as I was bored and was rubbish!
If I had known you were back from the land of the flying wok I would have been in touch. We had 14.5 litres of Chimaera, a Tuscan and a Tamora. Good run, sure we will be doing another soon
Another 6.3l always helps with the ozone effect too lol

I will let you know if Jeremy organises another run out - it was good fun, and he said he had another route in mind.....

Only just seen this topic. Will try to make future runs if I see them in time
I, and I think I can speak for some of the others, would be very happy to do your Rutland run again, possibly starting further west, and without the need for a Burghley Car Show the next day.Or perhaps get your head together with Smokey Boyer and see if you can come up with a new route using part of your Rutland run with some of his Leicestershire ideas?
I'd happily organise one myself, but having only recently moved to Newark after 40 years living in Norfolk and Suffolk, I simply don't know the East Midlands geography well enough yet.
I have route that take in roads south of the A47 around Welland Valley and over towards Corby. I have two cafes to contact - one for the start and finish, and one for the half way stop. Once they have confirmed I will pick a date and see what interest there is.
The long range weather shows that the last weekend in Jan might be ok.
