Many thanks to everyone who turned out when the weather forecast was so awful. Official numbers are not yet in but we think maybe 60. I really appreciate you all coming along, so big thanks to all of you. Thanks to the ones near the front at Bakewell who did a couple of circuits round town with me. I was tempted to go round a third time but it was getting a bit loud.......
Special thanks to Richard, Glen and Chris and Christine for all the help with the Marshalling and to Jason for the list on Pistonheads.
Hope to see you all again next year.
Cheers.
Kev.

Hi guys...

Never posted to pistonheads before! Some of you may have spotted a random guy taking pictures on the approach to Matlock Bath yesterday.

Just wanted to share a few of them with you

Just some lined up near Castleton, and almost as many around the bend that you cant see in this photo...great turn out and makes you wonder how many we would have had on a sunny dry day.

A video of some of the morning run to Buxton...you should all be on here at the turn point near the dams and the re-group near Castleton.
Many thanks to John Gaytor for this video

Thanks Kevin,
and to the marshals and all those that helped on the day that made the event work in such an organized fashion.

My first time in that part of the world and it won't be my last. Was quite happy at the slow pace in many stages so I could take in the lovely surroundings.

Great photo's coming through, and I also happen to be in the video for the last 2 1/2 mins smile, just as the rain starts
Was good to see you there Jason, hope you will be back to do it all again next year. Hopefully we should be back to our usual lunch time parking on the prom at the Pavillion Gardens next year. (huge Marquee there this year) It was a nice change to visit the Cavern and those that went down the cavern really enjoyed it.
