Bet yours don't include breakfast though which is (I think) about £14 each.

I have now rebooked our room under the Griff Growl block booking. Strangely no discount was offered on account have having a Chimp.

I've rebooked our room under the GG block booking, though I have been advised by Rebecca Davis [ wedding and special events ] the cost is £91 despite advising several at the hotel the cost is £81.

It isn't the easiest pricing model. Its £81 per night for 2 night stays and £91 per night for one night stays so i guess she maybe correct.

Not been to a Growl before. Feel I should show my face at least once! Is it ok just to show up on say the Saturday for a few hours as opposed to staying over?

As Bob says, many people just come for the day. Open to one and all, not just Griff's.

Saturday is the main Griff Growl day. It's just that some of us drive up the night before, so it ends up being bit of a social beer and curry night to kick off the weekend.
