5 days until another epic season kicks off.

Who's in, who's out, who's quick, who's not, when, where and how to find coverage

Can the mighty Mercs outrun Ford and Holden, will Nissan throw a surprise or will Volvo head the field?

Add your knowledge and thoughts here

It's a shame they couldn't get the Mercs to work, they certainly had potential.

Agreed, I only found out through the post above

As for TV coverage I don't know who's showing it in the UK but if you can manage to stream/steal/buy coverage from here you'll find there's over 30 hours of it from Thursday through to Sunday via Sky

I find it funny that Betty would decide to run Walkinshaw cars, arguably the worst Holdens out there! They are definitely inferior to 888 at least. Apparently they have only bought one car, the other car was bought by the Ruseells (I think) and are paying Erebus to prep and run it. Sad times from the powerhouse that SBR was not that long ago.

Excited to see what SVG can do in equivalent equipment to Lowndes and Whincup, hope he dominates JW.

I think there will be fireworks between SVG & JW as the season rolls on, the one to watch for me will be Cam Waters & how well he does. Plus I hope GRM can get the Volvo back on track.

If Motors definitely aren't showing it then I'll pay for superview or Motor Trend (as they show american Le Mans Pirelli World Challenge etc) as both are showing V8 Supercars.

I think BT Sport are covering it again this year. Hope so anyway.

SVG/CL/JW will be the team to beat this year. How close SVG gets to the title will purely depend on his consistency. On pace I think he may a sell be the fastest guy on the grid.

What's Superview like? Can I stream it to my smart TV or do I have to watch on a computer? I'd rather buy that than pay BT for it, as nothing else they do interests me.

I asked the same question on the 2015 thread before this one was started.

If I can get it on the TV via chromecast or NowTV I'll definitely pay for Superview.

Apparently, it's still available on Freeview + HD and internet connected smart things!
I haven't tried it yet but there is a 'how to' guide here. https://uk.motorstv.com/get-motors-tv
